Environment Policy

Wellman Packaging is a leading provider of packaging solutions to the fast moving consumer goods sector including food, household, pharmaceutical and non-implantable medical segments.

We recognise and embrace the legislative & social obligations placed upon us & our staff in protecting the environment from adverse affects that may arise from our operations.

To meet these obligations, we are committed to:

• Good Environmental Practices including continuous improvement & risk management
• Complying with the National Packaging Covenant
• Adopting the Environment Code of Practice for Packaging (NPC)
• Adopting recycling & re-use strategies to reduce impact on waste streams
• Encouraging all stakeholders to reduce or eliminate packaging
• Employing a “cradle-to-cradle” strategy in product design
