Wellman Packaging has employed Good Environmental Practices since inception.

We seek to minimise the impact of our operations on the natural environment which we collectively enjoy by adopting risk management & continuous improvement strategies to provide ‘holistic quality’.

Wellman Packaging is a signatory to the National Packaging Covenant and the Environmental Code of Practice for Packaging.

Recycling

Only small amounts of by-products are generated, typically plastic & external packaging from suppliers. All by-products are re-used internally or fully recycled.

Water & Oil

Food grade hydraulic oils & associated lubricants are used in small amounts. Separation & containment systems are in place in the event of a spill and waste oils are fully recycled.
